Gel Plate Printing - Thurs. 23rd April
At the Thursday Art Group, 11 am-2pm
Julie Alice Chappell will be demonstrating some simple Gel Plate printing methods to create beautiful botanical prints, with the opportunity to have a go yourself.
The session will concentrate on botanical printing with patterned backgrounds incorporating acrylic and ink colourisation techniques.
Julie will have lots of fresh plants, leaves and flowers to use but feel free to bring along your favourite Springtime plants.
No need to book. Free for members and £3 for non-members.

Drawing Workshop - 28th March, 2026
This workshop will help you to put together a still life and to draw it with confidence.
We will consider composition, placement, lighting and colour contexts along with mark making, planar values, volume and light/shadow development.
Please bring along your favourite drawing implements such as pencils, charcoal, pastels and paper and an object and /or a piece of fabric for the still life composition.
